Web + iOS 7.5.1: Streamlining Sales, Purchasing, and QuickBooks Integration

We’re excited to share a series of important updates from our August 2024 releases, aimed at improving sales order management, purchasing, and enhancing our QuickBooks integration. Whether you’re managing packed lots, purchases, or invoices, these features are designed to save you time and provide better visibility into your operations. Let’s take a look at the highlights!

QuickBooks Enhancements

This release brings several improvements to sales and purchasing workflows, along with fixes to QuickBooks integration.

QuickBooks Improvements

• Invoice Numbers: We’ve fixed the issue of missing invoice numbers by automatically generating invoice numbers (e.g., BT-0001) for invoices created via API.
• Invoice Visibility: Enhanced the invoices tab to show the most recent invoices, improve statuses, and fix date discrepancies.
• Improved error messages for clarity.
• Consolidated multiple line items from the same product into a single line on QuickBooks invoices.
• QuickBooks Invoice Updates: Invoices created in QuickBooks will now use email addresses from QuickBooks records, improving communication accuracy.

 iOS Version 7.5.1 

Overprinting Fixes

We’ve reintroduced a safeguard to prevent overprinting, which was omitted in a prior update. Now, users will receive a warning when approaching 500 prints to avoid unnecessary charges.

iOS Sales and Purchase Editing

iOS users can now edit Sales Orders or Purchases directly from the app if the order was originally created in iOS. This provides more flexibility for on-the-go users.

Sales & Purchasing Improvements 

Purchases: Received Lots Tab

We’ve introduced a Received Lots tab within the Purchase view. This allows you to easily cross-check quantities and items received against what was ordered, ensuring accuracy in your inventory.

Sales Orders: Packed Lots Tab

Similarly, a Packed Lots tab has been added to the Sales Order view. This gives you visibility into what was packed and shipped, allowing you to verify that customer orders are correctly fulfilled.

Needs Review Badge

We’ve added a Needs Review badge to help users quickly see if packed quantities don’t match what was ordered. This update also introduces packing and receiving statuses, improving visibility into order fulfillment.

Packed & Received Tabs: Now with Photos

Both the Sales Order and Purchase views now include photos attached to the iOS orders and received lots, making it easier to verify items at a glance.

Pack Out Notes

Packing notes are now displayed in the Pack Out UI, allowing users to see all relevant details directly from the screen without needing to print reports.

Sales Orders & Harvest Log

We fixed a bug related to the date picker in sales orders and improved the Harvest Log, allowing you to filter, sort, and export based on ship date.

Shippers Visibility

Now, you can easily see a list of customers associated with a particular shipper, streamlining data entry and management.

Other Fixes and Enhancements

• Allocated inventory visibility in sales orders was fixed.
• Load Up now correctly calculates order weights.
• Improved Pack Out and Sales Order PDF exports, including missing PO#s.
• Resolved display issues like NaN$ for purchases without prices and other filtering bugs.

Bill of Lading

Bill of Lading (BOL)

A new Bill of Lading entitlement has been added, allowing users to export a BOL PDF after items have been packed. This feature is fully customizable, with options to display only the fields you need, streamlining the shipping process.

Load Up Enhancements

We’ve added visibility for pack notes in the Load Up UI, ensuring critical information is easily accessible when managing shipments.
