Web: Streamlined Sales and Inventory Management

We’re excited to announce a major update with the introduction of Sales Orders, available as of April 30, 2024. This new feature is designed to help businesses manage their sales and inventory processes more effectively, providing a clear view of customer orders, special pricing, and streamlined shipping logistics—all in one place. Let’s take a closer look at how these new tools can transform your business operations.

Capture and Manage Sales Orders Easily

Sales Orders allow you to capture everything your customers have ordered, enabling better inventory planning and purchasing decisions. By centralizing all order details, you’ll have a complete view of customer purchases, ensuring you’re always prepared to meet demand.

Key Benefits:

  • Track and manage sales orders for each customer
  • View important customer details, including delivery addresses and pack dates
  • Add items, quantities, and prices directly to sales orders for a complete snapshot

With this new feature, you can select pricing models like last used price, list price, price tiers, or bespoke customer pricing, ensuring you offer the right price to the right customer every time.

Bespoke Customer Prices
We understand that not all customers are the same. That’s why we’ve introduced Bespoke Customer Prices, allowing you to set special pricing for individual customers on specific items. You can easily set these prices as a percentage deviation from your list price or as a fixed price.

This feature offers flexibility in pricing while simplifying invoicing, ensuring customers get the personalized pricing they expect without added complexity.

Shipping Made Simple with Shippers
Managing shipping logistics is now a breeze with the new Shippers feature. You can configure shipping companies or stops for each sales order, creating a seamless shipping process for every customer. These shipping sequences are remembered for future orders, making it easy to repeat the process with minimal effort.

Customizable Permissions for Sales Orders
To ensure proper access control, we’ve introduced Sales Order Entitlements & Permissions. Now, you can customize who in your organization can create, view, or access sales orders. This provides added security and control over your sales operations, ensuring that only the right team members can handle critical customer information.

Permission Levels:

  • Create Permission: For sales reps handling the order process.
  • View Only Permission: For team members who need access to view sales orders but not edit them.
  • No Permission: Restricts access to sales orders entirely.

Powerful Sales Order Management Tools

  • View, Filter, Sort, and Search: You can easily find any sales order with our standard table view that includes filters and sorting options.
  • View Orders Per Customer: Navigate to a customer’s profile under the “Sales” tab to see all recent orders. This helps you keep track of what each customer is buying, offering better insights for your sales team.

Enhancements for SKU Management and QuickBooks Integration

We’ve also made important enhancements to SKU management and billing email display. SKU Uniqueness is now enforced, ensuring that every item has a unique SKU—critical for inventory management and preparing for integration with QuickBooks.

Additionally, Billing Email Display has been added to customer and vendor profiles, making it easier to match records between your sales orders and QuickBooks invoicing. This update is part of our effort to provide smoother, more efficient accounting workflows.
