7.3.0: Seamless Integration with Sales Orders for Optimized Workflows

We are excited to announce the release of iOS version 7.3, packed with new features designed to streamline your order management and enhance the connection between iOS and web-based sales orders. This update enables greater synchronization between your sales activities and logistics, offering more control and flexibility for your team.

Connect iOS Packed Orders with Web Sales Orders

The highlight of this release is the Sales Order Field integration, which allows your iOS orders and harvests to connect directly with sales orders created on the web. Now, when you’re filling out an order or harvest in the iOS app, you can easily select from a list of open sales orders and link them to the activity. This means you’ll always know exactly which sales order is tied to a specific action, improving transparency and record-keeping.

Additionally, the list of sales orders can be filtered by customer. If you’ve already entered a customer in iOS, the available sales orders will be refined to show only those related to that customer, saving you time and reducing errors.

Streamlined Shipper Management

Another significant improvement in this update is the Shippers feature. Once a sales order is associated with an activity in iOS, the shipper information will automatically populate the appropriate field. This data will carry over and print directly onto shipping labels, eliminating the need to manually re-enter shipping information.

Gone are the days of managing long lists of shippers within iOS. You can now switch shippers in the web interface on the sales order, or select from a recently used list of shippers for each customer when making last-minute changes. This makes the shipping process more flexible and responsive to customer needs.

Bug Fixes and Enhancements

In addition to the new features, we’ve addressed several key issues to improve overall performance:

  • Phone number support for extensions: Now, phone numbers in the system can handle extensions, making customer and vendor communication even easier.
  • Customer creation with the same address: Fixed an issue when creating customers with duplicate addresses.
  • Inventory calculation issue after selling out: Resolved a bug that caused inventory miscalculations when additional stock was added after being sold out.
  • iOS vendor deletion error: Addressed an error that occurred when deleting vendors in iOS.
  • Apple warning updates: Updated iOS build to resolve warnings from Apple’s app guidelines.
  • Ship Log export fixes: Fixed a bug where the quantity appeared twice in Ship Log exports.
  • Departments creation bug: Resolved missing creation date issues for departments.
  • Authorization refresh: Fixed an issue where refreshing didn’t clear authorization errors in iOS.
