What is Load Up?
Load Up allows you to efficiently organize and prepare shipments based on your sales orders. It’s part of our comprehensive Packing Support suite, which includes:
- Pack: Organize sales order data by individual sales orders to pack efficiently.
- Pick: Organize items by department to easily gather everything you need from your inventory.
- Load: Organize sales order data by shippers or routes to streamline your shipping process.
With Load Up, you can manage shipments based on Ship Dates, Shippers, or even specific Routes, ensuring that orders are loaded and sent out accurately and on time.
How Load Up Works
When you navigate to the Load Up page, you’ll see a default view of all sales orders scheduled to ship Today. This means you can start your day knowing exactly what needs to go out the door. But it doesn’t stop there—you have full control over how you view and filter this data to match your workflow.
Flexible Date Options
You can adjust the date type that’s used to filter and display your orders:
- Ship Date: Focus on shipments going out today or on specific dates.
- Pack Date: Prioritize packing needs based on when items are packed.
- Order Date: Organize orders based on when they were placed.
- Delivery Date: Ensure items are ready for delivery based on your customers’ expectations.
Customizable Data Views
You can further tailor your view by adjusting the date range or filtering by specific shippers or routes. This flexibility ensures you’re always seeing the data that’s most relevant to your current needs. Whether you’re managing a few shipments or a large number of orders, Load Up makes it easy to focus on what matters.
Additionally, CLOSED sales orders are automatically excluded from the Load Up view, so you can focus solely on active, open orders without distractions.
Enhanced Search and Filter Capabilities
The Load Up feature also includes robust search and filter options to help you quickly find the data you need. Whether you’re searching by shipper, route, or date, you can easily narrow down the information to match your specific shipping goals.
Pro Tip: Keep in mind that searches are performed within whatever filters are already applied, so if you’re looking for a broader set of records, be sure to adjust your filters accordingly.
System Changes to Support Load Up
To access Load Up, your organization needs to set up the Pack Out entitlement, which includes all three features: Pack, Pick, and Load. This ensures that your entire packing process—from organizing sales orders to shipping—can be managed efficiently.
Each user will need specific permissions to access the feature, ensuring that only authorized team members can interact with this critical operational tool. Once the entitlement is enabled, the “Logs” section in your navigation will update to “Operations”, where all packing and shipping features are housed for easy access.
